【One-of-a-kind】 The "bat fan" (Koumori-ōgi) originated in the Heian period and was formerly a general term for paper fans and paper-covered fans. It is also said that the shape of the open fan resembles the wings of a bat. With its beautiful form and perfect size for easy incorporation into any interior, it makes a stylish decorative piece. This particular fan features a kabuto (helmet) depicted with torn-paper art (chigiri-e) on a torinoko paper surface. The chigiri-e creates a three-dimensional and soft atmosphere.
